I created and produced “Rap Gets Real” for BBC Radio 4, hosted by Guvna B. This explores how influential UK rap artists have begun open up about their struggles with mental illness and how this can influence young black men in particular to seek help.

The half hour documentary was highly praised in The Guardian, Independent and Daily Express amongst others and was selected for the BBC’s Seriously podcast.

Produced for Reduced Listening (2022)

Broadcast Assistant - Reduced Listening

I pitched features, conducted interviews, researched and scored shows such as Late Junction, Freeness, Unclassified, Afropean and the Spotify Original podcast Decode (a UK spin-off of the critically acclaimed, serial music podcast Dissect).
